Keystone Bank Limited has handed over newly renovated and equipped school facilities to St. Jude Secondary School, Ihiala, Anambra State, as part of its commitment to educational development across Nigeria.
The project, commissioned on Saturday by Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, includes a refurbished classroom block, an administrative building, a school hall, a science laboratory, and new classroom furniture.
Chairman of Keystone Bank, Dr Ada Chukwudozie, said the project reflects the bank’s belief in education as a tool for national progress. “Education is not just about buildings but creating an environment where young people can realise their potential,” she said.
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr Hassan Imam, described education as the foundation of a thriving society and reaffirmed the bank’s resolve to support learning and youth empowerment nationwide.
Governor Soludo commended Keystone Bank for what he called “a true spirit of partnership between the private sector and government,” noting that education and health remain the “twin pillars” of his administration’s development agenda. He added that investing in education is key to Anambra’s prosperity, praising the bank for contributing to the state’s vision of a “liveable and progressive homeland.”
