The Lagos State University (LASU) will hold its 112th inaugural lecture on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at the Buba Marwa Auditorium, Main Campus, Ojo, Lagos.
The lecture will be delivered by Professor Kabiru Olusegun Akinyemi of the Department of Microbiology, Faculty of Science. His presentation is titled “Itsy-bitsy Animalcules in Our Lives: An Unending War and Survival Strategies.”
According to a statement signed by the Registrar and Secretary to Council, Emmanuel Fanu, guests are expected to be seated by 1:30 p.m. ahead of the 2:00 p.m. start.
The event is part of the university’s ongoing effort to promote scholarly discourse and highlight research contributions from its faculty members.
