The Lateef Jakande Leadership Community has launched the EmpowerAbility Hub at the Ikeja Senior High School, one of Lagos State’s inclusive secondary schools. Launched on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, the initiative will foster inclusive education and digital equity. Teniola Hassan, the group’s team lead, expressed her gratitude to the fellows for their resilience in promoting equity within the education sector.
As part of the initiative, the group organised a two-day training for teachers on foundational strategies for inclusive education. The training introduced cutting-edge tools, including speech-to-text apps, hearing loops, and the concept of Deaf Architecture, to facilitate diverse learning techniques.
