Dr. Musa Abdullahi Sufi, Director General of the Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo Foundation, celebrates 47th birthday
The President of MAAUN Group of Universities, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, has congratulated Dr Musa Abdullahi Sufi, Director General of the Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo Foundation and MAAUN faculty member, on his 47th birthday.
In a statement from Kano, Prof. Gwarzo described Dr Sufi as a model of simplicity, scholarship, and innovative leadership in education and development, noting his efforts to mentor youth and empower women.
Sufi, a medical and public health geographer, is recognised for supporting governments, organisations, and communities in delivering development services to underserved populations. He also engages youth through media, social platforms, and development journalism to promote transparency, accountability, and productive use of technology.
Gwarzo wished Dr Sufi many more years of health and success, highlighting his impactful work across Europe and Africa in advancing education, social development and community empowerment.
