The Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board has announced that several universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education are still selling admission forms for the 2025/2026 academic session.
Among the institutions with open applications are Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Adekunle Ajasin University (AAUA), Abia State University (ABSU), Akwa Ibom State University (AKUM), Ekiti State University (EKSU), University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID), University of Jos (UNIJOS), Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH), and Sule Lamido University (SLU). Private schools, such as Al-Hikmah University and Bowen University, are also listed, alongside polytechnics and colleges of education, including Ilaro Polytechnic, Ado Polytechnic, and the College of Education, Waka-Biu.
Prospective candidates are advised to apply as early as possible before the deadlines close. They have also been admonished to carefully review the admission requirements for each institution, which include minimum UTME scores, subject combinations, and O’Level qualifications. Those who meet these criteria have a high chance of gaining admission for the new academic year.
