Dukwu Chamberlain, President, Nigerian Aquatics Federation (NAqF)
The Nigerian Aquatics Federation (NAqF) has partnered with the Nigerian University Games Association (NUGA) to source for and train young Nigerians with swimming abilities.
Dukwu Chamberlain, the NAqF President, announced the partnership at the 27th Nigerian University Games, organised in Jos.
He noted that swimming remains one of Nigeria’s most successful medal-winning sports, calling for increased investment to develop it further.
“If the country concentrates on the development of swimming, we will not lack in medal haul at both continental and international meets.”
The President appreciated NUGA for playing a massive role in enhancing university sports and making efforts to revive swimming development in the country.
He emphasised that the partnership between them is bringing results, as the emerging talents at the games are performing well.
