The Nasarawa State Government is set to host its 5th Federal Education Sector Games (FEDUGAM) in Lafia.
The event, scheduled to take place between August 4 and 10, 2025, was announced during a visit by a delegation from the Federal Ministry of Education to Hon. Kwanta Yakubu, Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development in Nasarawa.
Hon. Kwanta Yakubu, the commissioner, appreciated the Federal Ministry for selecting Nasarawa for the programme for its successful 2017 hosting experience. The 4th edition of the games in 2024 aimed to improve unity, workplace synergy, and physical fitness, featured table tennis, track and field, football, volleyball, and Scrabble
