NBA-YLF Jalingo Holds Public Discussion on Tax Reform

The Nigerian Bar Association Young Lawyers Forum (NBA-YLF), Jalingo Branch, will hold a public discussion on the upcoming 2026 tax reform on Friday, November 7, 2025, alongside an orientation for new wigs.
Themed “The New Fiscal Frontier: Strategically Positioning Nigerian Lawyers for the Tax Reform in 2026 — Challenges, Compliance, and Commercial Opportunities,” the event will take place at the NBA Bar Centre, Jalingo, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
According to a statement signed by B.C. Asawa, Esq., Publicity Secretary of the forum, the session aims to equip young legal practitioners with insights into the evolving fiscal environment, compliance expectations, and emerging commercial opportunities arising from the reform.
The forum urged all young lawyers and new wigs to participate actively, noting that the engagement will deepen professional competence and strengthen understanding of the economic and legal dimensions shaping the next phase of tax administration in Nigeria.
