NYSC Enterprise Lab trains, graduate 32 corps members
The NYSC Enterprise Lab has trained and graduated 32 corps members, equipping them with startup skills and resources to turn ideas into viable businesses.
The initiative, led by EGO Foundation in partnership with Access Holdings, concluded the 2025 Enterprise Lab: NYSC Edition, a hybrid business accelerator designed to serve National Youth Service Corps members and alumni. The programme ran from November 5 to 14, combining virtual learning with selected in-person sessions. Participants received training in business modelling, financial literacy, digital strategy, and investment readiness.
The programme culminated in a hybrid pitch day, during which three ventures were awarded seed funding and 10 businesses were formally registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission. Of the 32 ventures, 18 were women-led, highlighting the initiative’s focus on inclusivity.
Toluwase Olaniyan, executive director of EGO Foundation, said the programme bridged the gap between potential and opportunity, preparing participants not only to seek jobs but to create them.
Access Holdings described the partnership as part of its commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and supporting emerging ventures. The Enterprise Lab also established an alumni network to provide ongoing mentorship, ensuring sustained growth and contribution to Nigeria’s economic development.
