Education authorities in Ogun State have warned applicants for the 2025 OgunTEACh recruitment exercise to disregard false information circulating on social media.
In a joint statement, the Universal Basic Education Board (UBEC) and the Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) said details of scores, results, and screening invitations being shared online are fake. The release, signed by SUBEB Chairman Evangelist Joshua Olalekan Ifede and TESCOM Chairman Apostle Biodun Sanyaolu, urged candidates to rely only on official communication channels.
According to the statement, only applicants who scored 40 and above in the qualifying test and received an SMS or notification directly from SUBEB or TESCOM are eligible for the physical screening. Candidates must also have applied for the subjects listed on the OGSERA Portal.
SUBEB’s screening will take place on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at 9:00 am in its conference room, while TESCOM’s session will take place on Monday, September 8, 2025, at 9:00 am in its conference room.
Applicants invited for screening must present their original credentials, including NYSC certificates where applicable, and valid identification such as a National Identification Number (NIN).
