The Ondo State Police Command has arrested a landlord, Oladele Femi, for planning the kidnapping and killing of two students of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko. The victims were 25-year-old Abah John Friday and his 19-year-old friend, Okah Andrel Eloho.
According to Commissioner of Police Adebowale Lawal, the students went missing on June 20, 2025. A petition was later submitted by the victim’s brother, leading the Police to start investigations. Detectives from the Ondo State Police Command tracked the victims’ iPhone to Computer Village in Ikeja, Lagos State, where it was recovered. Arrests led to the discovery of a Lexus vehicle and confessions from suspects, including one Michael Ojo, who has now admitted to the crimes.
The suspects raped and killed the victims before dumping their bodies in separate locations in Ekiti State. Police later recovered Eloho’s body, while the search continues for Friday’s remains. The landlord confessed to planning the attack. According to the police chief, the case file is not yet closed, as investigations are still ongoing to apprehend other suspects.
