Paradigm Initiative (PIN), a pan-African non-profit group, has launched a new game called Drible to teach university students about digital rights and online safety. The game makes learning fun and easy. With the help of the Open Society Foundations, Drible utilises games, training, and stories to educate students about digital inclusion.
The project started on July 15, 2025, in three schools: the University of Lagos (Nigeria), the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (Kenya), and the Dakar American University of Science and Technology (Senegal). PIN’s Executive Director, Gbenga Sesan, said the aim is to reach 20 million young Africans through this initiative.
PIN has been working since 2007 and now operates in six African countries. Other tools developed by the group include Ripoti, for reporting digital rights violations, and Ayeta, which offers digital safety tips. PIN’s goal is to equip students across Africa with the knowledge and tools to protect their online rights.
