Precious Cornerstone University (PCU), Ibadan, recently welcomed two teams from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to verify resources for its new postgraduate programmes. The programmes reviewed include Business Administration, Computer Science, Accounting, Microbiology, and Biochemistry.
The first team, led by Prof. Vincent Ezeabasili, visited on May 5, 2025, while the second team, led by Prof. L.N. Edosomwan, came on May 8. Both teams were accompanied by officials from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to inspect the school’s facilities and assess its readiness for academic activities.
PCU Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Timothy Olubisi Adejumo, shared the school’s goal of offering quality, faith-driven education and character building. He noted that while undergraduate programmes run at the Oloagun campus, postgraduate courses will be held at the Olubadan Estate annexe. The NUC officials praised the university’s efforts, environment, and focus on morals. University leaders, department heads, and other key staff were present during the visit to support the process.
