Phaybee-Ville Schools Reward Pupil for Humility

Phaybee-Ville Schools, Ado-Ekiti, has honoured Miss Emmanuella Olaleye, a pupil whose act of kneeling to greet Governor Biodun Oyebanji recently went viral.

The school management described the gesture as a reflection of good upbringing and cultural values, emphasising that it aligns with the institution’s philosophy of combining academic excellence with moral character.

At a recognition ceremony, the school’s chairman, Dr B. S. Oluwadare, and managing director, Dr F. A. Oluwadare announced a ₦100,000 reward for Emmanuella. They said the gesture was both to appreciate her humility and inspire other students to emulate her.

The management commended her parents and teachers for instilling discipline and respect, stressing that home and school must work together to raise children of character.  Meanwhile, teachers at the event described Emmanuella’s action as proof that lessons on courtesy and cultural values remain relevant.
