Redeemer’s University Students Show Business Skills at Exhibition

200-level students demonstrating business creativity

Students of Redeemer’s University have demonstrated that they are not only academically proficient in the classroom but also successful in the business world. The 200-level students participated in the 2025 Entrepreneurial Exhibition, held on Tuesday, June 17, as part of their ENT 212 practical course.

The event aimed to prepare them for real-life business and leadership. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Shadrach Akindele, who was represented by Prof. Peter Aderonmu, praised the students for their creativity and fresh ideas. The students displayed various skills and services, including cooking, photography, and computer programming. One of the students, Adora Favour, said she enjoyed learning new cooking skills, while Oluwatise Owolabi explained how photography and editing can help students earn money while still in school.

Mr Afolabi Ojo, the course coordinator, explained that the entrepreneurship training consists of two parts: theory in the first semester and practical application in the second. Students select a skill, receive training, and are evaluated through a combination of training, an exhibition, and a term paper.
