President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has revealed that his government has allocated ₦3.52 trillion to education in the 2025 federal budget, making it a 61.47% increase from the 2024 allocation.
In an address read by Prof. Madu Offor, the Vice Chancellor of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike (MOUA), the President noted that his administration has adopted strategic investments in education and formulated key policies to improve skill acquisition, inclusivity, quality engagement, and data-driven planning. The President advised the graduands to see their education as a tool for change and use it to drive progress under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
