The Tosin Eniolorunda STEM Foundation has unveiled the Future Builders Fund, a new scholarship initiative aimed at supporting talented but under-resourced students pursuing studies in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) across Nigeria.
The foundation said the programme seeks to eliminate financial and structural barriers that prevent promising students from realising their full potential, while equipping them to contribute meaningfully to Nigeria’s growth in the global digital economy.
Founder of the foundation, Mr Tosin Eniolorunda, said the initiative reflects a belief that every child deserves a fair chance to excel regardless of background.
“Socioeconomic barriers should not be a roadblock to mastery and brilliance,” Eniolorunda said. “We are launching the Future Builders Fund to find and nurture innovators who will shape Nigeria’s future by leveraging education to create opportunities and empower students from low-income backgrounds.”
Last year, the foundation donated a CAD/CAM laboratory valued at over ₦100 million to Obafemi Awolowo University to strengthen research and technical learning. It has also supported other STEM-focused initiatives promoting access to quality education.
According to the foundation, the Future Builders Fund will identify and support exceptional students committed to using innovation to solve real-world challenges.
