Tuteria has unveiled a research-driven exam-preparation model to address Nigeria’s high Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) failure rates.
The initiative was announced by Godwin Benson, CEO of the learning platform, who said the system targets structural gaps in student preparation rather than intelligence deficits.
The platform combines AI-powered personalised learning with expert tutors, daily quizzes, weekly mock exams, and mastery tracking to address individual weaknesses.
A pilot programme earlier in 2025 produced multiple high scorers, despite nationwide low performance, with many students achieving scores above 300 for the first time.
Benson emphasised that the model encourages consistent engagement through live classes, targeted improvements, and a N10 million scholarship and prize pool, including weekly performance rewards.
“Every student who passes JAMB is one more doctor, engineer, teacher, or innovator Nigeria will not lose,” he stated, highlighting the project’s long-term goal of building competence and confidence in learners.
Tuteria Prep is now open nationwide, offering structured schedules, personalised learning paths, and expert tutoring across core UTME subjects, aiming to transform exam success and strengthen Nigeria’s educational outcomes.
