TVET Urges Trainees to Upload Certificates

The Federal Ministry of Education has asked all applicants of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programme to upload proof of their prior learning.

According to the ministry, this is not a shortlist but an important stage in the application process. Trainees are receiving emails with the subject line “TVET Application: Action Required” asking them to re-upload their certificates, diplomas, or transcripts.

Applicants are advised to carefully check their inbox, as each email includes a unique application ID and the registered skill of the candidate. Alongside the notice, the ministry also published a secure link where prospective candidates can upload the required documents.

The ministry, however, warned that only PDF, JPG, or PNG formats will be accepted, and the file size must not exceed 10MB. Once the upload shows “successful”, the candidate’s submission is complete. The ministry stressed that the exercise is to properly verify applicants before moving to the next stage of the TVET trainee programme.
