A delegation of the University of Lagos Business School (ULBS) recently embarked on a two-week immersion programme at the South Carolina State University (SCSU) in the United States of America (USA).
The ULBS delegation included Professor Sunday Adebisi (Facilitator) and Ms. Okon Itoro Archibong (an EMBA participant and an aspiring DBA Student). Professor Adebisi attended the immersion programme on a special invitation to deepen the collaboration between ULBS and South Carolina State University Business School in the area of Entrepreneurship.
The Business School of the American International University, Nairobi, Kenya, also had a delegation of eleven (11) students and two professors who also participated in the Immersion Programme. The programme, which is part of measures aimed at exposing ULBS participants to global business operations worldwide, opened on Monday, June 8, 2025, with addresses by the President of South Carolina State University (SCSU), the Mayor of Orangeburg, and a representative of the Orangeburg City Council.
The immersion programme provided participants with various immersivecross-culturall and academic activities, as they were taken around the different SCSU Schools, Faculties, and units for adequate familfamiliarisationse activities included seminars and presentations that centred on Finance, International Trade, Research Methodologies, Artificial Intelligence, Strategic Management, and Agric-Business, a core area of South Carolina State University.
