Umuahia will host what organisers describe as South-East Nigeria’s largest finance conference later this month. The “Abia Forex Expo with Sam Keys” is scheduled for October 25 at the International Conference Centre in the state capital.
The event will be headlined by Sam Keys, a financial educator and founder of Freedom Tradehouse, a digital platform offering training in forex and synthetic trading.
Organisers say the expo, themed “The Future of Finance – Navigating Change in a Digital Economy”, will bring together finance professionals, entrepreneurs, investors and students to examine new trends in global finance.
Through keynote sessions, panel discussions and workshops, participants will explore opportunities in foreign exchange, synthetic indices and digital finance tools.
According to the organisers, the expo aims to strengthen financial literacy and entrepreneurship while promoting discussions on sustainable economic growth.
Sam Keys stated that the conference would equip young Nigerians with the knowledge necessary to thrive in the digital economy. “Finance is evolving faster than ever before. With the right knowledge, our people can harness digital tools to achieve independence and create lasting wealth,” he said.
The gathering is expected to position Umuahia as a hub for financial education and digital innovation in the region.
