UNILAG Alumni Association Donates to Indigent Students
The Law Class of 1985 at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) has donated ₦10 million to support indigent Students of the Faculty of Law.
The alumni group announced the donation during a courtesy visit to the faculty, during which it also formally handed over the renovated restrooms.
Ife Oyedele, the president of the UNILAG Alumni Association, appreciated the Law alumni for collaborating to execute the projects.
The president stressed the need for stronger class, departmental, and faculty alumni structures in the university.
Addressing the association, Prof. Abiola Sanni, the dean of the faculty of law, noted, “What you are doing now is a seed that will ginger other sets also to do something. I am happy the students are seeing your good deeds, and in the near future, I believe they too will return to contribute.”
