The Students’ Union of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has announced the timetable for the online allocation of school-owned hostels for the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to a statement issued on Friday, September 26, the exercise will be conducted in phases to ensure fairness and order. Returning students will vote on Friday, October 3, 2025, with each academic level assigned a one-hour time slot, beginning with the 200 Level at 9:00 a.m. and ending with the 600 Level at 4:00 p.m.
Newly admitted students (100 Level) will participate in a ballot on Tuesday, October 7, in two sessions scheduled between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
The union, led by President Adelu Idris Ayomo and PRO Adam Mozeed, urged students to strictly follow the schedule to avoid disruptions. It described the hostel allocation as key to student welfare and a smooth academic year, assuring that transparency and fairness would guide the entire process.
