Prof Mohammed Laminu Mele, UNIMAID VC, received Board of Trustees of Madrasatul Darul Qur’an Wattarteel Islamic School
The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Maiduguri, Professor Mohammed Laminu Mele, received Alhaji Ali Abatcha (OON), Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Madrasatul Darul Qur’an Wattarteel Islamic School, and his team on a courtesy visit to his office on Monday, December 1, 2025.
The delegation was welcomed at the Muhammadu Buhari Senate Building, where Professor Mele expressed gratitude for the visit and affirmed the university’s commitment to supporting the school’s development.
He highlighted UniMaid’s readiness to strengthen engagement with external educational institutions and foster community collaboration.
In response, Alhaji Abatcha thanked the Vice-Chancellor and university management for their warm reception.
He described the long-standing relationship between the two institutions as an enduring bond and expressed a desire for continued partnership and cooperation in advancing educational goals.
