The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced that its result checker portal is temporarily shut down. To announce the situation, the examination body took to its official X handle and wrote, “WAEC hereby informs the general public that the result checker portal @waecdirect.org is temporarily shut down due to technical issues.”
It assured that the council is working to ensure the 2025 candidates can access their results in the next 24 hours, and apologised for the inconvenience. Regardless, it is being criticised online for the portal downtime.
