VarsityScape, USA launching Pad opens Silicon Valley access to African Universities

VarsityScape and USA Launching Pad have launched the US Market Access Program, enabling African university students and innovation teams to gain direct exposure to top U.S. tech hubs, including Silicon Valley, New York, Boston, and Austin.

The initiative provides students with mentorship from founders, investors, and accelerators, alongside workshops on refining products, pitches, and business models for global markets.

Grace Idiare, VarsityScape COO, said the program reshapes students’ approach to innovation, offering clarity, confidence, and an international perspective beyond traditional classrooms. CEO Daniel Idiare highlighted that limited access to global markets has long constrained African innovators, and the program now provides a structured pathway to global competitiveness.

The 1-2 week immersion includes curated learning sessions, site visits, and investor meetings. Universities can identify ventures suited for cross-border growth through readiness assessments. VarsityScape’s Academy Operating System and USA Launching Pad’s decade-long experience supporting global founders jointly deliver the program.
