Prof. Igbekele Ajibefun, Commissioner for Education, Science, and Technology, Ondo State, has pledged to eliminate the situations affecting the State’s education sector’s income.
To achieve this, the commissioner is targeting unregistered private schools, ensuring they register with the Ondo State Ministry of Education. Ajibefun stated that the ministry has partnered with the Ondo State Internal Revenue Service (ODIRS) to receive the support needed for the ministry’s revenue-generating department. He added that the ministry is devising ways to generate more income for the Ondo State Government, as it needs funds for infrastructure development in schools.
