The alumni of Mayflower School, Ogun State, have called on the government to offer help in executing capital projects.
Wale Abdul, President of the Mayflower School Old Students Association, expressed the need at the press briefing and unveiling of the school’s 70th anniversary. The late Dr Tai Solarin-founded school has received support from old students in millions. According to the president, several alumni sets have renovated classrooms, built libraries, clinics, and laboratories. He added that the school’s 70th anniversary, scheduled for January 2026, will celebrate its enduring legacy. Meanwhile, this year’s anniversary will be celebrated modestly.
