Stakeholders Push for Better Education in Ogun

Education experts and community leaders in Ogun State have urged the government to create strong and lasting policies to fix the challenges facing schools in the state.

The call was made during the first Egba Education Roundtable (EER) held at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta. During the forum, stakeholders discussed different ways that the government can improve access and quality of education in Ogun State.

In a communiqué after the meeting, the group highlighted four key areas that need urgent attention: students, teachers, curriculum, and the learning environment. They also advised the government to consider local culture and the real needs of children and youths when planning reforms.

The stakeholders said the goal of the roundtable is to build a stronger and fairer education system that will give every child in Ogun State an equal chance to learn and succeed.
