Baze University has visited the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) in Abuja to strengthen partnership in promoting higher education. The delegation was led by Vice Chancellor, Prof. Jamila Shu’ara, alongside Deputy Vice Chancellors, the Registrar, and other senior officials. They were received by TETFund’s Executive Secretary, Arc: Sonny Echono, and his team.
At the meeting, Baze University shared its progress in technology-driven learning and its steady academic calendar, even during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Chancellor and founder of the university, Senator Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, who joined virtually, commended TETFund for its support and noted that the university is built on innovation, diversity, and academic integrity.
The visit showed the university’s commitment to work more closely with TETFund in research, capacity building, and infrastructure growth. Both sides agreed that stronger collaboration would help Nigerian universities better meet the nation’s education and workforce needs.
