The Vice Chancellor of Caleb University, Prof. Olalekan Asikhia, has shared his plans to move the school to greater heights after spending his first 100 days in office.
Prof. Asikhia, a professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship, spoke during the university’s 2025/2026 academic colloquium, where he unveiled a seven-point agenda aimed at repositioning Caleb University for global recognition.
His plans include:
Building a godly and disciplined learning environment,
Improving academic standards,
Promoting research and innovation,
Supporting entrepreneurship,
Ensuring financial stability,
Strengthening good governance, and
Taking action on climate change.
The Vice-Chancellor expressed confidence that with these reforms, Caleb University will soon rank among the top five universities in Nigeria and possibly become number one by the 2026/2027 session.
He added that the reforms will not only attract more students but also enable Caleb University to compete favourably with leading universities worldwide.
