One of Africa’s fastest-growing international student recruitment agencies, Study Now, has announced a multi-city education fair aimed at connecting young Africans with universities abroad.
The Study Now Xperience, scheduled to run between September and October 2025, will be held in Port Harcourt, Abuja, Lagos, Accra and Nairobi. The fairs will give students and their families the chance to meet university representatives, explore study options, and receive advice on applications, visas, and funding.
Yewande Ajadi, Head of Operations at Study Now, stated that the events were designed to bridge information gaps that often expose students to fraudulent agents. “Instead of spending months searching online, attendees can meet genuine admissions officers and even start their application process at the event,” she said.
Ajadi noted that more Africans are studying overseas, a trend she said benefits national development when students return. She added that the expos would also cover practical topics such as visa interviews, budgeting and career planning.
UNESCO estimates that nearly seven million students were studying abroad in 2023, with Nigeria among the top contributors to UK enrolments. Study Now said it expects thousands to attend the fairs, with many securing conditional offers on the spot.
