Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado-Ekiti, has promoted Dr. Pius Ade-Ojo, a leading medical practitioner, to the rank of Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
The Appointment and Promotion Committee announced the elevation after a thorough review of his academic work, clinical experience, and service to the health sector.
Professor Ade-Ojo, who is highly regarded in Ekiti State and beyond, is noted for his contributions as a lecturer, researcher, consultant, and administrator. Before his promotion, he was a Senior Lecturer in EKSU’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and also served as a Consultant at the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital (EKSUTH).
His career has been devoted to improving maternal and child healthcare, making his new rank a recognition of years of professional excellence and impact.
The university described the promotion as a significant milestone and an inspiration for younger academics and medical professionals in the state.
