The Gombe State Government has announced that the 2025 mock examinations for final-year students in all public secondary schools will begin on Monday, September 29, and end on Thursday, October 2.
According to the Ministry of Education’s timetable, students will take examinations in Civic Education, Commerce, Biology, and Mathematics on the first day. Tuesday will feature Economics, Chemistry, and English Language, while Thursday will conclude with Physics, Government, Financial Accounting, and Building and Engineering Drawing.
The Ministry stated that the mock examinations, consistently approved by Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, are a prerequisite for registration in final-year external examinations, including the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) and the National Examination Council (NECO) examinations.
Saidu Bappa Malala, Special Assistant to the Commissioner of Education on Media, confirmed the schedule, highlighting the administration’s commitment to maintaining high educational standards and ensuring students are well-prepared for national assessments.
