Armed men have reportedly abducted Professor Musa Dankyau, a lecturer at Bingham University, Abuja. According to media reports, the university lecturer was abducted from his home in Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State.
The incident happened on Monday night, August 4, 2025, around 9:30 pm, when armed men invaded SA Estate along Guratopp Road. They took the professor to an unknown location. Security analyst Zagazola Makama revealed the attack in a post on X, saying security agencies have started a joint operation to rescue the professor and catch those behind the abduction. The kidnapping has caused fear among residents, who say such attacks are becoming too frequent in the area. Authorities have urged anyone with helpful information to come forward and assist in the rescue efforts.
