The Vice-Chancellor of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai, Prof. Mohammed Hadi Sulaiman, has reaffirmed his commitment to advancing technological innovation and strengthening academic delivery.
Speaking during a strategic session with internet provider Layer 3, represented by Deputy Vice-Chancellor Prof. Muhammad Salihu Niworu, he emphasised that globally competitive universities depend on technology-enabled learning, research optimisation, and data-driven administration. He highlighted ongoing capacity-building efforts to help staff fully leverage digital systems.
Layer 3’s Technical Officer, Godwin Michaels, detailed AI-driven classroom and library systems, upgraded network architecture, high-capacity servers, and infrastructure enhancements to eliminate connectivity challenges and improve access to academic resources. Continuous training and technical support were also assured.
Registrar Alhaji Idris Saleh Kusherki commended the presentation, praising both the Vice Chancellor and the technical team for their dedication to institutional growth and reassuring management’s support to ensure successful implementation.
