The Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu, has commended Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah for what it described as visionary leadership and transformative governance, reaffirming its support for the state’s ongoing development agenda. In a goodwill message signed by Professor Gozie S. Ogbodo, Rector of the Institute, on behalf of the Academic Board, Management, Staff, and Students, IMT praised Governor Mbah for his strategic approach to governance, innovation-driven policies, and commitment to sustainable development across key sectors in Enugu State.
The Rector noted that the Governor’s policies have begun to positively reshape the state’s political and economic landscape, describing his leadership as “a game changer” that has brought new momentum to governance. “Every decision and step taken by Your Excellency has been strategic, and their impact is being felt in meaningful ways. You have redefined the concept of good governance and inspired a new sense of purpose across institutions like ours,” the message read.
While lauding Governor Mbah’s resolve in seeking innovative solutions to the state’s challenges, the Institute reaffirmed its alignment with the government’s development vision and pledged to contribute to capacity building and human capital development, supporting the administration’s priorities. “As an institution of learning committed to academic excellence and societal relevance, we are encouraged by your focus on transforming education, infrastructure, and public service delivery,” the message stated.
The Rector expressed optimism that, with continued visionary leadership, the state would make more progress in the years to come. He also conveyed best wishes on behalf of the IMT community, praying for wisdom and strength for the Governor as he continues to lead the state’s affairs. Governor Mbah’s administration has been noted for several reforms and initiatives across education, infrastructure, health, and technology, aimed at accelerating socio-economic development in Enugu State.
