The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released a list of new universities for students to consider for admission. Candidates of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) can now apply to or switch choices to the universities.
The new universities are the Kwara State University of Education, Ilorin, Kwara State; the Federal University of Agriculture, Mubi, Adamawa State; and the Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo, Ondo State. JAMB revealed that the universities were established after the 2024 UTME. Prof. Oloyede, the JAMB registrar, said students seeking admission into the new universities should apply for a change to the institutions as their first choice. JAMB has directed the new universities to re-advertise the statement and inform candidates of the offer and admission processes.
