The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has again notified tertiary institutions in the country of the Federal Government’s specific deadlines for admissions into the 2025/2026 academic session.
In its Weekly Bulletin on Monday, JAMB stated that according to the Minister of Education, Dr Tunji Alausa, public universities are expected to complete their admissions by October 31, 2025, while private universities must finalise theirs by November 30, 2025.
It added that all other tertiary institutions, including polytechnics and colleges of education, are required to conclude admissions by December 31, 2025. Meanwhile, Public universities are expected to complete post-UTME screening and submit recommended lists via CAPS by September 30, 2025, while private universities are expected to submit theirs by October 31, 2025, JAMB added.
