The Parents and Instructors Association of the Nigerian Military School (NMS) has paid an advocacy visit to Malam Ahmed Bamalli, the Emir of Zazzau, for a bill passed to amend the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) Act.
According to Mr. Ikenna Madueke, the chairman of the association, the visit to the Emir was to get his support for the bill. Madueke explained that the bill will help students transition from the four military schools into the NDA. The idea is to assist students of these schools who intend to pursue a career in the Nigerian Armed Forces towards enhancing the combat strength of the armed forces.
