MINILS Boss Praises Tinubu’s Education Plan

Comrade Issa Aremu, DG, the Michael Imoudu National Institute for Labour Studies (MINILS)

The Director General of the Michael Imoudu National Institute for Labour Studies (MINILS), Comrade Issa Aremu, has praised the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Education Agenda. He described it as a strong effort to rebuild Nigeria’s education system.

Speaking in Ilorin during the first graduation ceremony for the institute’s Industrial Relations degree programme, Aremu said President Tinubu’s government is giving more attention to education than ever before. He pointed out that the 2025 federal budget allocates N3.52 trillion for education—a 61.47% increase from the previous year. He said this shows Tinubu is serious about fixing the sector.

Aremu also noted that the new focus on skill-building, inclusion, and better planning is already improving the quality of education. He added that MINILS’ achievements align with the President’s vision to develop the country through education. He called the convocation a proud moment in supporting national development.
