The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) states that it has completed the disbursement of upkeep payments to over 3,600 students who had previously registered with digital-only banking platforms.
In a statement issued by its Director of Strategic Communications, Mrs Oseyemi Oluwatuyi, the Fund stated that the affected students had faced delays due to issues with their digital wallet accounts but have now received their payments after updating their details to conventional commercial banks.
NELFUND advised students still using digital wallets to raise a support ticket through the official portal or report the issue to their institution’s IT desk to resolve the outstanding problems. The Fund stated that the resolution is part of its efforts to improve the disbursement process and ensure that all eligible students receive support.
