The Nigerian delegates to this year’s edition of TeenEagle Global Round, held in the United Kingdom (UK), have returned to the country with eight medals. Nigeria was represented at the competition, held from June 22 to 22, by students of the Nigerian Tulip International Colleges (NTIC). The global final was the culmination of the TeenEagle competition, where students competed in events such as the team debate challenge, writing challenge, spelling bee, and knowledge quiz.
The NTIC students won one gold, two silver, and five bronze medals, as well as five honourable mentions, at the event, which featured competitors from around the globe. Fevzullah Bilgin, the managing director of the NTIC, stated that the students “proudly represented Nigeria at the TeenEagle Global Round in the UK and achieved remarkable success in different categories. NTIC has 26 years of academic excellence and remains the best school in Nigeria. NTIC is the right environment for learning.” The competition was the final stage of the TeenEagle English competition, with various global finals held in different locations worldwide.
