The Nigerian Institute of Social and Economic Research (NISER) has held a seminar to discuss approaches to tackle intimate partner violence (IPV) and other issues.
To shed light on these approaches, Prof. Gbenga Sunmola, a sabbatical fellow, presented a paper on ‘Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) in Nigeria: Patterns, Impacts, and Policy Influence.’
During the event, Prof. John Adeoti also discussed how to build impactful research careers in development policy, as well as scholarship and mentorship opportunities.
Prof. A.T. Simbine, NISER’s Director-General, mentioned the different partnership opportunities and ongoing projects that will help promote the institute’s goal in developing trustworthy information for national development.
