Six schools have qualified for the grand finale of the 2025 Tax Club Quiz Competition organised by the Kwara State Internal Revenue Service (KW-IRS) in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development.
The competition, held to promote tax education and civic responsibility among young people, is part of KW-IRS’s plan to raise a new generation of tax-compliant Nigerians. The semi-final round was conducted online using a Computer-Based Test (CBT). According to the organisers, twelve schools participated from their campuses. The session was closely monitored by the KW-IRS Tax Club Advocacy Committee and representatives from the Education Ministry, Aina B.E. and Alaya A.I., to ensure fairness.
Officials said the quiz helps students understand the importance of paying taxes and contributing to nation-building. The final stage will soon determine the overall winner of the Kwara Tax Club Quiz Championship.
