Teachwise Family Daycare Ltd has launched educational programmes to improve access to early childhood education for underprivileged children in urban slums and rural communities.

The organisation combines classroom preschools, mobile training units, and community partnerships to reach families who lack affordable early learning options. Its work focuses on three key areas: training teachers, supporting parents in developing practical parenting skills, and establishing high-quality, low-cost preschool centres.

According to Teachwise, the goal is not just childcare but laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning. The group emphasised that early quality interactions play a critical role in shaping children’s futures.

The organisation also noted that as part of its project, teachers will be trained in play-based, language-rich methods, while parents are coached to extend learning at home.

Teachwise believes that by addressing gaps in access and affordability, it can help children from low-income homes develop the skills necessary for future success.
