ThinkCyber Nigeria is helping many university students fulfil their dreams of becoming top cybersecurity experts before they graduate. The company is partnering with schools like Babcock and Adeleke University, where students receive practical training on using high-tech simulators.
Instead of just theory, students practice real digital defence on platforms like Cyberium Arena and Specto. Led by Ikem Michael Uche, ThinkCyber also helps students obtain international certificates from City & Guilds, preparing them for global job opportunities.
A former student, nicknamed “Star Boy,” secured a cybersecurity job in Europe, paying over €45,000, after completing the programme. Graduates return to school as certified penetration testers and join research programmes, such as the Kaizen Programme. ThinkCyber is now enrolling its next training cohort starting August 25, 2025. Uche says, “We are training the next guardians of Africa’s digital borders, ready to protect the world.”
