President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has commended the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM) for its crucial role in advancing the nation’s human capital agenda, describing the Institute as a key partner in building a future-ready workforce.
Opening CIPM’s 57th International Conference and Exhibition in Abuja, Tinubu, represented by the Head of the Civil Service, Mrs Didi Esther Walson-Jack, OON, highlighted the conference theme, “Reimagining the New World of Work,” as aligned with the Federal Government’s renewed hope agenda, focusing on digital transformation, youth empowerment, and large-scale talent development.
Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi, pledged continued collaboration with CIPM to strengthen Nigeria’s workforce and urged HR professionals to leverage insights from the conference to drive sustainable national growth.
CIPM President and Chairman of Council, Mallam Ahmed Ladan Gobir, FCIPM, fnli, described the event as “a movement to shape the mindset, skills, and culture of the Nigerian workforce for the new realities of work,” reaffirming the Institute’s commitment to equipping professionals for technological disruptions while maintaining humane and inclusive workplaces.
The conference also saw the launch of the CIPM Mobile App, a platform to enhance member engagement, access to resources and continuous learning.
