The University of Ibadan (UI) has announced a special admission window for candidates who switched their mode of study to its Open Distance eLearning Centre (UIDLC).
In a statement, Professor Babatunde Omobowale, Director of UIDLC, described the move as an opportunity for qualified students across Nigeria who could not gain admission through JAMB or regular on-campus programmes. He noted that the initiative allows more candidates to access quality education at the country’s oldest university.
Applicants are required to update their records via the portal at https://modeofstudy.ui.edu.ng/putme. Afterwards, they may choose either online verification or physical verification at the UIDLC Admissions Office, located at the University of Ibadan Extension along Sasa-Ajibode Road.
UI added that interactive sessions for admitted students will commence immediately, urging admission seekers nationwide to seize the chance to study through its distance learning programmes.
