The focus will be on advancing neuroscience research and building scientific capacity across Africa.

The event is part of DFG’s Initiative for a 2-stage Initiation of International Collaboration (I2I), which aims to strengthen global research partnerships, with Africa as a key focus region.

The DFG, Germany’s most prominent research funding organisation, supports science and humanities projects worldwide, promoting international collaboration and research excellence.
